“All true artists, whether they know it or not, create from a place of no-mind, from inner stillness” -- Eckhart Tolle
I find this to be very true; just like the whole existence came from nothing, and so will anything creative in this existence. It will have to come from the same "nothingness", from stillness, and from no-mind. Creativity can't the product of chaos, even if the artist may have a chaotic lifestyle, but it's his/her stillness that produces the goods. That, to me, explains why the artist loves the art, it's not the final product that hooks, but the process of going deep inside and finding that place!

In that place the artist is in the "now". No worries, no past, no feature. Just playing creator. Which is why artists are probably closer to the truth than anyone else! Maybe :]
