It's a call for excellence, standing out, and making interiors a statement with any style or form the designer with the client find fit.
It's also a call for personalizing and creating our dream spaces without holding back. That's why I loved and used the quote.
In a previous blog I shared a tip about using a focal point in the room design. The quote seemingly contradicts with the focal point concept, but not at all. The purpose of the focal point is not to catch all attention and divert it from the rest of the room. It is just to satisfy our natural urge to focus on one thing at the first instance only. Good, and well designed, focal points ease us into the room, and speak the story of the room rather than hold the room captive!
