I've always been fascinated by the color theory and it's applications in interiors as well as life. So let's talk colors! :]
Dramatic and strong scheme but falls easy on the eye. The drama comes from not only the black and white occupying the majority of the scene, but also from using them in separate spaces making them alternate, yet the easiness and loveliness comes from using the right textures and patterns as well as accenting the scheme with other colors like the Champaign gold, the grays, the brownish wood in the shelf a parquet, and very cleverly the light blue and light gold in the chair!
I'd sit very comfortably in this space for hours! :]
