Interiors designer are artists and always inspired by art in all forms and shapes, and so it makes perfect sense that I blog about art which is also a favorite subject of mine.
I was introduced to op art while reading an encyclopedia back when I was a teenagers and found it very interesting. It's very abstract and simple; almost a cross between math and visual art.
#Op art, short for optical art, is a style of visual art that uses optical illusions. Op art works are abstract, with many better known pieces created in black and white. Typically, they give the viewer the impression of movement, hidden images, flashing and vibrating patterns, or of swelling or warping.
It is based on older forms of art where illusions were used rather less abstract but as interesting and challenging to the eye.
More modern versions are colored and abstract, sometimes little less abstract using human shapes or other shapes we're used to seeing.
Even more recently and due to technological advances new form of this art evolved using digital way to produce the art pieces, very interesting.
